YOUNG PROFESSIONALS seemed fascinated by the wine and chocolate experience laid out for them by principals of the local chapter of Young Professionals (YoPro) Global on February 26, so long after Valentine’s day. Medulla Art Gallery on Fitt Street, Woodbrook, was the venue for networking at which YoPro resumed its highly anticipated concepts. Decadent wines sponsored by AMCO were poured, while a wide assortment of savoury chocolates supplied by Cocobel, House of Arendel and Sweets of Brazil, with its Brigadeiros Chocolates.

Representatives from state agencies ExporTT and InvesTT shared positive trends taking place in the chocolate sector international, while educating emerging entrepreneurs in attendance on how their businesses can access the international markets. Brett Torina, YoPro’s director of communities and interim General Manager for Trinidad and Tobago said, “The YoPro network is growing in T&T, and we’re excited to see some of our guests from previous events return. It signals to us that we’re doing something right and people are interested in continuing this journey with us.”
